Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex two time unified title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
